This fireside chat will bring together leaders from government, private sector and civil society to discuss a chronic dilemma and fundamental question: Leadership in energy and climate has historically been male-dominated—why, and how can redefining leadership to embrace women’s perspectives transform the sector? Nordic business call for climate action at COP30: Competitiveness through green transition

Nordic business organizations present their COP30 position, calling for high global climate ambition, global CO2 pricing and rapid technology deployment. Launch of the Nordic Business COP30 position is preceded by high-level keynotes by Nordic government representatives, reflecting Nordic countries’ and businesses’ climate ambition and commitment to climate action, in supportive public-private collaboration. The release is followed by a panel discussion with corporate leaders focusing on Nordic businesses’ climate ambition, role of policy and private sector collaboration in crafting competitiveness through green transition.
