Beyond Megawatts: The Social Value of Clean Energy
Organized by: Green by Iceland
What value does clean energy create beyond electricity and emissions cuts? Using Iceland as an anchor case and Nordic/international examples, the session explores jobs, local value creation, affordability and trust. It will show how social value can be measured and designed into clean-energy development, and identify practices that strengthen public trust, local benefits and the social licence needed for faster deployment.

Climate action requires more than ambition. It takes people coming together, sharing experiences and finding ways to move forward.
Tipping Point Run brings the international climate community together for informal morning runs alongside COP31. Away from conference halls and formal discussions, participants connect through movement, exchange ideas and explore what it takes to turn ambition into action.
